Henrik von Bülow was born in 1978 in Hamburg. After having obtained his A levels and served in the German army as a military driver, he studied law at the University of Hamburg and at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. He graduated in 2007 with the first state exam.
Afterwards, he did postgraduate studies at master´s level at the University of Bristol, UK, focusing on company law, banking law, and international private law, obtaining the Master of Laws
(LL.M.). Meanwhile, he taught students and worked as a grading assistant at the University of Hamburg.
Subsequently, he did his legal traineeship at the Hanseatic higher regional court in Hamburg passing stages inter alia at a major international law firm, the German University of Administrative
Sciences in Speyer and the VI. Senate of the Hanseatic higher regional court. In 2011 he graduated with the second sate exam.
Henrik von Bülow has been admitted to the German bar in 2011. First, he worked as an employed lawyer at a renowned law firm in Hamburg. Since 2013 he works as an independent lawyer in his own law
office. In 2014 he obtained the theoretical qualification as a specialist lawyer in the field of inheritance law.
Henrik von Bülow speaks German, English and Spanish.
In his spare time he does running and fighting sports, playing music, cooking, hunting and sailing.
